Godwell joined Synteractive in 2011 and is the Director of Quality Management. He brings over 14 years of collective experience in the art of software testing.
His testing career began with two semesters of co-operative education at Intel Corporation in Folsom, California. There he worked with his team to build an automated hardware and software environment to test the latest Intel multimedia CPUs. This project was so successful that Godwell and his team travelled to install the system at three other Intel locations in California and Oregon.
Prior to Synteractive, Godwell had spent almost 12 years at Microsoft. He worked in diverse testing roles on a wide range of products and services, shipping over 10 different software titles, including Microsoft Outlook, several versions of Microsoft TV, as well as Media Center in Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
Godwell will bring his vast experience in the software development life cycle to build and maintain a strong test and quality assurance discipline at Synteractive. His philosophy is guided by the words of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry- “ If you want to build a ship, don't drum up the men to gather wood and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea.”
Godwell graduated with honors from Howard University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
