Michael joined Synteractive in 2008 as a Business Solutions Architect looking to leverage his skills as versatile engineer and software lead who specializes in agile development and .NET technology. As development lead for Recovery.gov, Michael coordinated Synteractive’s efforts to create a SharePoint site which is flexible, easy to use and maintainable. His experience spans 20 years and includes the government, private and not-for-profit sectors.
Michael is a practitioner of agile methodologies, and a certified ScrumMaster. Prior to joining Synteractive, Michael worked for Standard & Poor's/Compustat as a development team lead and architect for the Backtester product, and spearheaded the adoption of agile practices there. His technical background includes the mastery of .NET, Java and web scripting platforms. Among other achievements, he has led successful engagements centered on financial modeling, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), e-commerce and other applications.
Michael earned a BA in Computer Science from Wesleyan University, and a MS in Natural Resource Management from the University of Michigan.
